Shannon - Raising the sweetest f1 and f1b AussieDoodle Puppies

Shannon has a passion for dogs. She calls herself the “dog mom.” She wanted to wear her “dog mom” hat, for this photo, but I refused. Shannon isn’t your typical dog breeder. A pathologist, a mother of 5, and master of 4 dogs, is just the start. She is “obsessed” with learning about genetics in dogs. Everything from breed specific health issues and how studying them can sometimes help diagnose human disease (it happens!), to behavior traits and color genetics. She’s trying hard to crack the color code to help us determine what colors of mommies and daddies will produce the most amazing looking puppies. Shannon will carry on Winnie’s legacy, with Zinnie. Zinnie is a puppy from Winnie’s last litter and will be an AwesomeDoodle momma to F1B puppies in the future. We’re so happy Winnie’s genes will live on.

Shannon is teamed up with her mom, Dana who is retired from an Ob/GYN office and is now lucky enough to stay home with her three fur babies. She lives in Toledo, Ohio and is a master griller and gardener. She makes the most amazing homemade salsa, pesto, jalapeño mustard and pesto right from her own garden.
